The course on Prophetic movement with special reference to Isaiah and Amos will give an overview of the dynamic message of the prophets. Further, its socio-historical and literary settings will be explored with special emphasis on various significant theological themes found in the Book of Isaiah and Amos. It will provide an overview of prophetic movement in the Old Testament. This course will motivate and challenge the learners to raise prophetic voice in the present context. This course is tailored to make the prophetic teachings applicable to the life and ministry of the present Indian church.
