The course on Human Rights provides considerable opportunity to orient, comprehend and apply the principles and policies of human rights in personal and communal life. It enables students to appreciate those ethical and moral forces behind the origin and development of human rights. The course will unfold the normative and institutional mechanisms to create and establish a just society. The course is designed to educate students to be agents of transformation and change in the church and society. It stimulates the students to be sensitive to the struggles and hardships of the vulnerable people and actively engage in the advocacy of human rights in their respective contexts. This course will help the students to inculcate selfrespect, dignity, equality, justice, dignity of labour and worthy of each individual irrespective of their socio-cultural backgrounds.
